Terms and Conditions
Outlined below are my T's & C's and payment policy pertaining to my writing services. I urge you to please take the time to read and familiarize yourself with all points. If there are points you're not sure of I'll gladly assist with any queries.
Project T's & C's
Upcharges
Within reason additional charges will be levied during or after quoting for the following:

Significant changes to the scope of work, deadlines or project direction - calculated according to the changes requested plus 10% of the quoted amount.

Additional peripheral services specified post-quote e.g. graphics or stock image purchases - calculated according to the changes requested.

Rush deadlines - typically 15% of the quoted amount. ​
Downcharges
Clients will be credited for the following:

Bylines and backlinks - 15% to 20%

Copyright retention - 20%

Return business - I'll surprise you :)

Cancellation Penalties

Typically a sliding scale penalty of between 50% and 99% of the quoted amount will be payable immediately should the client cancel after work has commenced. The final penalty is levied at Koru Pencrafts' discretion and will depend on the amount of work completed at the time of cancellation.

A 15% cancellation penalty may be levied for any cancellation after a quote is accepted and prior to the commencement of work.

NB: Please note that decisions made regarding cancellations are discretionary will be based on case merits.

No Go's
I have no problem covering contentious, adult or sensitive subject matter but I DO NOT do the following:

Propagate hate speech, inflammatory rhetoric or any material designed or intended to cause gratuitous harm or damage to the reputations, characters or good standing of any group or individual.

Propagate calls to or justifications of violence, sexual misconduct, racism, discrimination, environmental damage or destructive dissent of any description.
-
Aid or abet any efforts to hide, disguise or conjure legitimacy for any of the above.

Help you lie about the size of that bass you caught last week. Well, maybe just a bit!
Seriously though, I am simply not about hurting, degrading or breaking down. If that's your thing and you need a minion, just keep riding pilgrim. I'm not your man.
Payment Terms

My default quote and payment currency is USD. Any rate of exchange implications at the time of payment are for the client's account.

My preferred payment methods are Payoneer or Wise. Payments may also be made via wire transfer upon prior agreement.

I typically require a 50% deposit before I start to work. The remaining 50% is immediately payable upon acceptance and sign-off of the completed work and prior to the distribution of all deliverables. Milestone payments may be negotiated dependent on the project specifics.

Any and all financial services charges relating to the fulfillment of my payment are for the client's account by default although that can be subject to negotiation.
